- Severe allergic reactions: swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, hives, breathing difficulties[7]
- Severe stomach pain or ovarian hyperstimulation (painful, swollen ovaries, rapid weight gain, trouble breathing, decreased urination)[7]
- Yellowing of skin or eyes (possible liver issues)[5][8]
- Persistent or severe visual changes, which may rarely become permanent[5][7][8]
- Pancreatitis symptoms: severe abdominal pain radiating to the back, persistent nausea/vomiting[7]
- Increased risk of ovarian cancer with prolonged use (more than 6 cycles is not recommended)[7]
Most side effects are dose-dependent and temporary. If you experience severe, worsening, or concerning symptoms, consult your healthcare provider promptly. Fertomid 50 should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding and requires careful monitoring during use.
